How recording works

  1. Connect Google Meet

The Chrome Web Store release is being prepared. Existing beta testers can use their installed companion.

  2. See when recording is active

The white B icon changes to a dot while recording. Join a confirmed Meet call to start automatically. Leaving the call ends recording. Start and Stop remain available.

  3. Review your meeting note

Audio and transcription stay on your Mac. Keep or delete the result, export a note when you choose, and start another meeting while the previous one processes.

Google Meet companion

The companion shares Meet call state, meeting title and visible participant names with Brain on this Mac. Brain handles audio recording.

The store release will provide installation and updates through Chrome. The download link will appear here after publication.

Local transcription and optional export.

Audio and transcription stay on your Mac. Capture controls remain visible, and note export is optional. The current version sends no meeting content to an external agent.
